Brass Nozzle

Brass is made from copper and zinc. It is light gold in color and resists tarnishing. As a result, brass has a wide variety of uses including door locks and doorknobs, name plates, brass sheets, distributor caps and gear, pipe and plumbing fittings, brass pipes, curtain pipes, cables, electrical appliances, bearings, ammunition, valves, fan blades, motor bearings, keys, zippers, eyelets and coins.

Because brass is highly acoustic, it is used to make musical instruments such as the French horn, tuba, trumpet, trombone and tenor horn. Brass takes on a very attractive appearance when it is highly polished.

Six types of brass compounds

There are over twenty different types of brass compounds. Six of these are:

Leaded brass which contains 1.5% brass, which increases its machinability, or ease with which it can be cut.

Lead free brass which contains less than 0.25% lead.

Manganese brass which contains manganese. It is used to make the United States gold dollar coin.

Nickel brass which contains mainly copper and is used to make the British pound.

Aluminum brass which contains aluminum and is very resistant to corrosion.

Low brass which is flexible, contains both copper and zinc and used in flexible metal hoses.

Brass distributor companies

A brass distributor may supply either general or specialty brass. For example, one company may make specialty brass firefighting equipment such as fire truck valves and nozzles, emergency and rescue equipment and fire truck manufacture. Another may manufacture brass for plumbing. These include residential and commercial faucets, bath accessories and sink and lavatory supplies.

Other brass distributor companies supply the market with brass woodwind, brass fittings, brass lacquer, brass eyelets, brass fasteners, nautical Indian brass, brass circles, red brass pipes, beaded curtain pipes, brass terminal distributor caps, distributor nozzles, quick snap brass, brass rods, and brass tack name plates.
